The first seal

Our story begins with a seal: that of Ferdinand II of Bourbon, who in 1847 granted our family the privilege of trading in gold and precious stones. It was more than a commercial act: it was a recognition of trust, expertise and reputation.

Ever since, we have been in Salemi, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, set among the hills of western Sicily, where every lane tells centuries of history and every stone carries the weight of a layered civilisation. A place that has shaped the way we look at things: with attention, with respect for what endures, and with the certainty that quality cannot be improvised.

The people

One family, one method, one selection

Today this passion has four names: Vito, Anna Maria, Elena and Pietro. Different generations, the same outlook: that of people who have learnt that quality and time are one and the same.

That is why we have built a way of working that puts the person at the centre. Our online consultation was born from this very conviction: every piece of jewellery has a reason, and finding it takes listening, expertise and time.

The same time we devote to selecting the pieces we bring into our boutique, chosen for the quality of their craftsmanship and gemstones, for their ability to last, and for their design. Because we believe a piece of jewellery should be beautiful today and in twenty years’ time, whether it is a timeless classic or a more daring creation. A conviction we have carried forward since 1847, and one we will be delighted to share with you.
